Indie Game of the Week - Ninja Senki

Ninja Senki has everything a classic 8-bit platformer should have - catchy music, variety of levels, simple storylines and stupid jumping frogs that always manage to jump into your jumps and kill you.






This excellent platformer game from Canadian Johnathan Lavigne (under the name of PIXELTAO) follows the story of our beloved hero Hayate out to revenge the death of Kinuhime. But no one ever really cares about plotline in platformers. Ninja Senki has plenty of charm and everything is true to life of an 8-bit classic, right down to the skill level required to time crazy ass jumps.

I would totally recommend this tasty title for anyone who is a fan of challening, I repeat - challenging platformers who isn't afraid of getting their ass handed to them multiple times.
